10,000th day of my life
Feeling good and excited.
Okay. The day has come. Few of them already knew before they get into this blog and others don't.
I was not counting the days actually, this happened to be an accidental one. I was surfing through the internet to find out an 'online age calculator' to know about my actual age with days and then I got to know about my 10,000th day of my life, which is going to be on the 8th of October 2013. Initially, I thought it is just a number but then I got stuck, thinking that why I shouldn't see this as some kind of milestone of my life? You can always find happiness in small things. Sadly, there are many people in this world who couldn't get through till this point because of obvious reasons and God gave me enough strength, showered his blessings, and helped me to this point. I would like to thank Him, my mother & share some of the moments with all my friends.
Keeping all my sad feelings apart on shelves, I will surf you all through my little memories where I thoroughly enjoyed & lived those moments in a theatrical way.
God took an avatar on 23rd of May 1986 in the disguise of Kid J (don't take it seriously, I was kidding) he was born to the parents in a 'Child Jesus Hospital', the town named Tiruchirappalli - Tamil Nadu. For the initial 1-2 years, he doesn't remember anything & his mom reminds him that, his father and grandfather (from mother's side) were having a fight for naming that child. At last, his mother has to name him something and that's how he got his name - R.a.m.e.s.h J
He used to be very attached to his grandpa and whenever his grandpa used to have 'inni' (that's how he pronounce for coconut water at the age of one-one and half J) gave a small amount of share. His grandpa passed away when he was just 2 L. Then everyone used to ask him, where did your grandpa go and he happily says, 'poo vandi la poittaanga' (he went on the vehicle which was decorated with flowers)
Now kid started showing some interest in studies J and wanted to go to school and his mom joined him in pre-school at the age of 2. And unknowingly he was built-in with unbelievable terabytes of storage space J to remember all the moments happening in and around of him.
He remembers wearing his first little white birthday clothes and running on the streets.
When he got to know that his younger brother was born, he went to see him and pulled out the clip that was attached to 'Thoppul Kodi' (umbilical cord) when others were busy in talking with his mom J. That kid wanted to kill his younger brother literally J, could be that, he was jealous of him that he won't get proper attention from his parents and would have been thinking that he won't get the royal food that he was getting J. Unluckily nothing happens to his younger brother J.
He also remembers his mother bringing crackers for Diwali but some big guys in the street burning it out because he and his brother were so young to burn the crackers (awwWW J). He was tied up to the cot using thread by his mother and grandma so that he doesn't run here and there and hurt himself (that too in a puppy shame, oooOOO).
He went to the photo studio for the first time to take passport size photo and he was looking so serious at the camera, the cameraman has to request him in his way 'Konjam Siri Pa' (Simile J).
He used to run before the lunch bell rings, goes, and stands in front of the church bells for 12 to ring by pulling that huge rope and hitting that big bell. (Tung - Tung - Tung) He enjoyed that lot. He and his elder brother used to complete their homework so fast, just to watch TV in their neighbor's house and he used to sit very near to the TV and today he is wearing spectacles with -5.o J.
He was like street-side Romeo and used to buy beedi (local cigar) and was smoking with his friends in 'under construction' building at the class of II itself. (Don't worry it was our story hero's first and last time J). He used to pick up the cigarette cover (Gold Flakes, Panama, Vijay, Charminar, Four Square, Wills...) on Sunday morning with friends, which would be used in some of his cheap games. He used to enjoy running on the entire street with Tyre and stick (favorite one was to have Motorcycle Tyre, it used to be firm and comfortable. He doesn't like cycle & auto Tyre J. Please be noted.)
When he was 10 years old, he was moved out of Trichy and settle down in Hyderabad. For the initial 2 years, he was writing only Telugu letters (acchulu and guninthalu) on every exam which was conducted. And all his school mates used to curse him for that because he was getting 45 out of 50 J.
Initially, when he was new to Hyderabad, every time he enters the class, early morning; first thing his classmates ask is, 'Do you know Hindi ?'... He says, 'Thoda Thoda Mallum'. 'Do you know Telugu ?'... He says, 'Thoda Thoda Mallum' (knows little) J.
When he was turned 11, he started learning cycle and after several attempts, he put his legs over the bar for the first time after that there was no turning back, only falling down J.
He got the sad opportunity to send a telegram, when he was in the class of 6th with the help of his friend to let his relatives know about the accident that happened to his younger brother. That day he literally cried. Let's pray our hero doesn't see any of these days anymore J.
It is a little secret and just after that one incident, when he was studying in the class of 7th, he felt that he was unfit to go to the temple and pray to God. He literally stopped praying God but he believes in them. He never went alone to temple thereafter but if someone asks, he never denied going but he can't go alone of his own now.
He used to have one rupee ice-cream just after his lunch and Pepsi-cola in the evening after school leaves. He was a big fan of Shaktimaan, every Saturday he used to run home after 12.PM ring to watch Shaktimaan.
He passed out in distinction in his SSC exam and made his mom more proud. (which was not revealed to his mom yet J)
He removed his mustache very daringly after thinking of so much of time. He was wondering how he would be looking like? He used to keep his index finger below the nose and looked out in the mirror. He did it finally and he sat the whole day in college covering his face with palm J. Most embarrassing moment J. He was looking completely different.
Finally, one of his classmates (Pavani) dared to tie up first Rakhi Jand he still has it to remember.
Once, he was in total shock knowing his results, his elder brother went to check his B.Sc II year result, comes to him and says, "you got 92%". He said, 'WTF' (not literally). When he checked himself, it was holy shit. He couldn't believe himself. First time in his life that he got 148 out of 150 in maths. He can't forget that moment. After that, it became habituate and got 150 out of 150 again in Maths, when he was in B.Sc Final year J. He normally doesn't like publicity J.
He went to the police station for the first time, not for doing something wrong but to register FIR for silly stuff that he lost his bicycle J.
He chose to go to many places J, but Oracle has chosen him to be with them. He joined the team named - ATCF (doesn't sound like an anti-corruption force ? J), it is 'Automation Testing Center for Financials' J. He was joined along with another guy (popularly known for his name) Balaji Babuji. Rest is known to Oraclites J. We were been like college buddies at the workplace.
He got many good friends, helping friends and all kinds of friends. The important thing is, he got most of the friends when he is in Oracle J.
He had a fear of donating blood when his friend asked him once to go for donating. He was totally scared of the needle and all. After a few months, he thought to face it and when he gave for the first time, it was no turn back and he felt very proud and happy. Now he decided to donate blood till he can in his lifetime.
He really enjoys the GVD program conducted in Oracle, he makes a lot of friends through it and a day spent with those kids brings lots of happiness in him. Unforgettable. He still cherishes those moments, seeing those photographs again and again J.
And today when he sees back, he has a lot of memories to share. There are many things that he would have missed in sharing but he won't forget them in remembering the same.
I take this moment to thank everyone; my mother, brother, friends, relatives, and some unknown people who indirectly inspired and motivated to come all through long. Thanks and Thanks a ton J.
The 10,000th day of my life remarks me to feel more focused, excited, and happy for myself.
-With Love,
