People believe in, what you believe ?

People always get inspired when they start believing in what you believe in. That is not because they want to do for you but they want to do for themselves. When you believe in something and you are firm about it and which also has a good cause behind it then people always show their interest in what you actually believe in it. It took time for me to realize but recently this saying by someone got stuck in my mind for long while now.

Then I started to recall if I had any moments when people believed in what I believed? Then the answer was, Yes.

In one instance, which happened way back in 2009. I recall it but was a sad event, a flood disaster that affected many places in India (one such place was Kurnool). As a thought of flood relief, there were few folks who planned to visit the villages nearby Kurnool and to do the needful. They approached my friend, "if any of us in our office willing to contribute to the flood relief". He approached me and as well as he asked, "if I can approach any of my other friends, who also can contribute to their part". I had an initial glitch in going and asking someone but then I believed in helping for the cause, I took pen and paper to note down, "How much each individual is contributing and who they are?", I was told they will be informed about each and every penny spent on the cause. I walked down to each individual and instead of just saying, "I am collecting for flood relief, would you like to contribute?"; I started explaining, "Why I came for? Who are the folks behind? Who and when they will be visiting the place? What all they have planned to provide them?" and surprisingly the response was too good and awesome. Because they believed in what I started believing in it. I didn't expect that overwhelming response. There was one girl who gave Rs.500 without a second thought, she didn't give because I asked for, she gave because she believed in what I believed which was for good cause. Whosoever has contributed, they did it for themselves, not for me. Not literally but, "I was just one who told them what I believed in, do you also believe in what I believed?". They said, Yes.

There were few more instances but the one I told was, close to my heart.

I feel very happy when I recall it, it was that disaster that united many of us in one or another way.

So, people won't believe in what you say; people believe in what you believe if there is a real good cause behind that.

Start believe in for good cause, there are many people around you who could believe in what you believe.
