Ants Perspective
Meh! What is this now? I knew it's not a positive note to start with but there is no theory behind it, I am just getting into what ants might possibly thinking in a given situation and what we can learn from it.
The situation here is, we used to or we are been killing those innocent ants wherever we see those bunch of ants crawling here and there. If we observe carefully, they reside in their cavities and store their foods for seasonal change. They don't disturb us until unless we disturb them. Few members of ant family come out in search of food, I call them 'Finders' and they lookout for some kind of sweets which would have got dropped accidentally here and there at home or for some dead insects. These Finders then mark the path and go back to the cavity and bring all other possible members and whom I call as 'Players'. Now, the Finders help Players in identifying the food where it lies and brings back to their home. This is the time when humans caught these ants and try to figure out where they actually reside and kill those ants with the so-called "Insect killer".
I admit that many times I did the same. Recently, I am doing something different. Whenever I figure out the Finders, I kill those guys. I don't want it to reach their home and bring those Players then I have to kill everyone or someone in my family figure out and kill all of those. I can put control on myself, how about on others? I don't have it. So, basically, I kill those Finders to protect all their family members and that is my intention.
Here comes the actual part, ants perspective. What ant might possibly thinking about their Finder's return? When they don't return, what they might be thinking? Possibly that, they might have lost a few more soldiers who went on a mission to figure out how about foods. Unlike humans, they don't take revenge. After a while, they send a few more soldiers on a mission until they accomplish their tasks. So from their perspective, I killed their loved ones and caused some kind of unknown pain in them. But, I was protecting them from being get killed. They would have prayed for their good return but their sacrifice has saved them actually.
Coming back to human reality, this is the same as what happens with us. If something bad happens to us, we crumble down with the thoughts of why me or why us? But we intend to forget what underlying is planned. There is something always good is planned, when something bad happens. Instead of getting indulge with the thought of bad stuff that happened, get rid of it. The bad which happened is a process of sacrifice like the Finder did for their families. Probably, I was the one who killed it but I was just part of that bad process to get good things to happen to them.
I just read a few minutes ago before writing this post, "What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven't happened yet".
So, keep going and move on. The best days are yet to come.
With Love,
