Anxiety

Anxiety is real and untrue at the same time. For example, people might get triggered to get anxiety simply just by reading the word anxiety itself and such a vulnerable person does exist. Some get real anxiety due to personal loss and some by hearing to other's personal loss and some by hearing to unusual death of a person like suicide etc and whatever could be the reason, it hits their subconscious mind very deeply and people could go unbalance.

Untrue part of the same anxiety is that this kind of incident is happening around the world for ages now, this is nothing new. Taking any incident to a personal level and not knowing how to disengage to the given situation and feeling over compassionate about something and grieving about as if it is affecting their own personal lives when they are not then things get a little uncomfortable.

We should start training ourselves consciously to think shallow about the situation and to accept for what happened is not in good interest and try to disengage as much as we could and make sure it shouldn't affect ourselves personally in any manner for what happened. Also to never stress about a question of, "what if", the more we stress on that factor, the more we go deeper into thoughts.

How can we disengage from the situation then? 

Definitely, we shouldn't run away from the situation or put things under the carpet as if nothing happened, it would be definitely the wrong strategy to deal with it. Abraham Twerski said this in an interview about a beautiful Lobster Growing Story, which always stuck in my mind, though I keep losing track I recollect this story now and then, "What is unusual about Lobster growing is that when Lobster is young and started growing, outer shell makes her uncomfortable and she goes behind the rock for some time to get rid off the old shell and wait till the new formation of the shell but after some time, the new shell also makes her uncomfortable and she repeats the process again and again. Now if she had a doctor to cure about her discomfort then Lobster would have never grown as such. So, we need to understand that the opportunity of discomfort is an opportunity for growth".

From the words of Abraham Twerski again that we will try to understand what is depression and feeling of depression as well when someone loses a friend or family member is a grief kind of depression that is real in nature. And anti-depressant doesn't work on the person as well. The other one is changing in our chemical system, neurohormonal changes, where we feel a kind of depression but we are not depressed at all. The bio-chemical depression is what can be treated with an anti-depressant. So, one has to psychotherapy to understand whether they are really depressed or they just feeling depressed. The former part of our discussion about anxiety, possibly could lead to a feeling of depression but not depressed at all. Definitely, anti-depressant is not an only solution but if we could calm our mind by any means, we can bring ourself back to consciousness of the present but we should make a change to our lifestyle not momentarily but forever like by going for a morning walk, meditating, engaging with people, talk to friends, learn to celebrate life, etc. And sometimes, having rich nutrient food and by taking an emergency multivitamin pill can also help. When our vitals are balanced there is less chance of hitting with biochemical depression, so, also advisory to keep a check on Vitamin-D deficiency and other vitals as well. Because chances are that when vitals are imbalance, having gastric problems can make us think that we are having heart-related issues, which is untrue. 

Also focus on finding the purpose of life and from Abraham Twerski's words, "to find the purpose of life, we should start looking for purpose of life". To find, we should start looking. Never to take this life for granted but figuring out our purpose of life could change our priorities, the way we see things in life altogether.

And if we are talking about the viral disease or any other disease due to our lifestyle that is causing. We should understand, no one in this world is perfectly doing fine, everyone has some or other diseases but only with severe go to the hospital. We should learn to accept that we are made up of trillions of germs and we should feel less anxious about other viral germs etc, we should learn to build our immunity but even if our immunity gives up, we should learn to accept that our immunity was not that stronger and lets doctor guide us for a best possible solution and we shouldn't try to take the control by ourself. If worst situation that we see today are due to the current lifestyle then we do understand what could be the real cause and we would have already forecasted about the same as well, so, there is less to worry for oneself but sometimes it gives a hard time to our loved ones.

So, accept the situation. Conquer the fear. Move on towards the purpose of life.
